Chapter 6 – ‘Below the Neck’ Love Scenes

Chapter 6 <— click on the link to read it.

Manga Based on Yandere Otome Game

Were you looking for an otome where all the capture targets are yandere? You know, one that’s like the game described in “It Seems Like I Got Reincarnated Into The World of a Yandere Otome Game”?

If so, then I’ve got you covered fam!

In case you were wondering, yes, this glasses-wearing, rabbit-eared guy is 100% yandere. *smirks*

An otome game full of (mostly) male yandere capture targets: “Alice in the Country of Hearts” aka “Heart no Kuni no Alice.” Yen Press is still selling physical copies.

Summary: Kidnapped by a handsome man with rabbit ears, Alice Liddell finds herself suddenly abandoned in an odd place called Wonderland. Alice sets off to explore this strange land but little does she know that she’s wandered right into the middle of a dangerous power struggle involving just about all of Wonderland’s attractive, weapon-happy denizens.

Note: The characters fight each other a lot but not “civilians” aka Alice and other bystanders.

You can read a fan translation here – https://bato.to/series/23413

There are various sequels that explore a particular pairing or pairings. My favorite is this one: “Love, Storms, and Flower Clocks: Alice in the Country of Hearts ~Wonderful Twin World~.”

I suggest you read the main manga series that I linked above then try out the other manga. If you liked Julius, the Clockmaker, then you can read “Love, Storms, and Flower Clocks.” It’s pure fluff with very little plot.

Here’s a trailer for the game that the manga is set in.

I just noticed that Alice is either frowning or pensive in the other pair images… except for the one with Julius.

Summary: It’s happy ever after for Julius and Alice who are now lovers. But life with the morose, antisocial workaholic Clockmaker is not without its problems. Now a “crazy storm” that is said to change everyone it touches is about to arrive. What further adventures are in store for Alice Liddell in this strange Wonderland?

  1. I know this doesn’t have a lot to do with the translation, but in case anyone is interested in the recommendation (alice in the country of hearts), I can link some sources for you to know more about the series (or know a little bit more) 😀

It’s also known as hnkna (heart no kuni no alice) and there are other games (dnkna, jnkna, ankna, cnkna, etc), doujinshis and official mangas with different pairings.
Unfortunately, Quinrose (the company that produced these games and others) went into bankruptcy, so I don’t think there’ll be more official releases on the mangas or games. There was a rumor of another company buying the nkna series, or contracting the same persons who made the game. In the end, they contracted the music team, if I’m not mistaken.

Here’s a master link for those interested: http://vocaotome.tumblr.com/alice-resources

Country of Clocks is group translating some doujinshis and mangas from the series: http://countryofclocks.tumblr.com/

There’s also a more known manga between all of them. But some people complain that the characters are way too ooc, so I recommend you to read not only one manga, but maybe at least two (from different authors)

There was also a issue with Seven Seas, and well, again, ooc. That’s why, it’s not impossible for you to encounter people in the fandom that have a certain negative impression about the company, or a certain person from that company.

I wanted to talk more about the series (is it too obvious that I love it? xD), but a lot of things that you can find about the franchise is on the master link (first one), so, yeah.

Think I got a little bit too excited (because someone mentioned the series after a long time), that’s why, excuse me if this comment got too long, and if my English isn’t the best (it’s not my mother language), and for barging in the comment section >.>

Thank you for your hard work in translating (below the neck) and sharing it with us!

    1. Oh, hello fellow fan! Yeah, there are a lot of manga and doujins. Which is your favorite pairing?
