Chapter 92.2 The Reader and Protagonist Definitely Have to Be in True Love (Rewind Version)

Chapter Title – Tell me I’m the only one, tell me there’s no other one.

A faint pulsation vibrated and diffused outward invisibly, like a heartbeat shaking the air. Xiu turned his head and saw that the angel statue was falling apart and the falling fragments were turning into yellow clusters of light. The yellow light clusters trembled slightly, wandering in between Xiu and the God of Creation. Xiu couldn’t figured out what this meant.

The God of Creation raised his hand and the yellow light clusters quickly gathered around him then turned into countless angels that looked identical, as though they had come out of the same mold.

A sense of extreme danger pricked Xiu’s skin as though he was poked by countless needles. Xiu looked silently at the legion of angels lead by the Creator. Each angel was almost as strong as the god of light. Therefore, it was as though he was now facing myriad gods of light.

The situation was desperate. The angels flapped their wings and, one after the other, they launched an attack on Xiu.

Xiu sprang up, wings spread open, and the wounds on his body healed at a speed visible to the naked eye. Even in the face of these terrible odds, Xiu’s attitude was still cool, calm, and domineering. By the time the first angel reached him, Xiu had more or less healed all his wounds. Xiu then changed his form. Angels are good at buffing and healing but their attack power is not very strong.

When Xiu opened his eyes again, they were red. The silver-haired dragon in humanoid form roared.

“This chapter was taken without permission from bc novels!” he said.

The angels were confused. Their blank, dull eyes showed no emotion but they started milling around aimlessly.

“What are you talking about?” The God of Creation spoke for the first time.

“You shouldn’t be reading this except at the bcnovels website,” said Xiu. “If people keep on reading at the websites that steal content then the actual translators will stop working. Then where will we be?!”

“You have a point.” The Creator frowned. He recited a spell:

“The world is a vampire, sent to drain
Secret destroyers, hold you up to the flames
And what do I get, for my pain?
Betrayed desires, and a piece of the game
Even though I know, I suppose I’ll show
All my cool and cold, like old job
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Then someone will say what is lost can never be saved
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Now I’m naked, nothing but an animal
But can you fake it, for just one more show?
And what do you want?
I want to change
And what have you got, when you feel the same?
Even though I know, I suppose I’ll show
All my cool and cold, like old job
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Then someone will say what is lost can never be saved
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage”

Xiu was silent. The two enemies stared at each other across a vast distance. Without a word they started fighting again. The angels lifted their swords of light and joined the fray.

Despite his size, Xiu was at a disadvantage because of the angels’ numbers, not to mention the Creator who used “blessing” to amplify the angels’ attacks. Soon Xiu’s body was a mess of bloody cuts.

“No! I can’t lose!” Xiu could hardly believe it when he started getting weaker and weaker due to loss of blood. “No…”

The God of Creation watched in satisfaction as the protagonist finally succumbed to his wounds. “I … won?”

“Nope.” The God looked around, trying to find the source of the voice. Suddenly, a human appeared.

“I really want to quit writing,” he muttered. “Why can’t I just slack off and play Jian Wang 3 all day?”

It was as though a pause button had been pressed. Everything stopped moving.

Then it was as though a rewind button had been pressed. Everything started moving backwards.

…. After a few seconds had passed, a familiar scene appeared.

Du Ze stared at the doujinshi with a serious expression.

This pupil is not curious! This is merely the spirit of academic exploration!

The silly Du Ze then gravely opened the book.

A feeling as though something invisible was broken into pieces…

Du Ze unemotionally pushed up his eyeglasses. Looking up at the two moons in the sky then looking down at the doujinshi again, Du Ze felt the urge to send an email to the past. He wanted to suggest that the next doujinshi should be set in outer space because the earth can no longer stop the invasion of the gay men…

Du Ze paused, and looked up again at the two moons shining brightly.

Silent for a while, Du Ze tucked the book under his arm, calmly took off his glasses, rubbed them clean, and then put them back on.

The yellow and purple moons were still there. The wind sighed across the desolate landscape and over the cold, lonely, and helpless Du Ze.

December 20, 2012, the day before the end of the world, a reader crossed over into another world.

Please read the chapter at bcnovels, thanks.
