was it mentioned anywhere in the original and the mxtx finalised versions that Shen Yuan died from a rage induced heart attack and that he spent the last ten years of life sick in bed?
I don’t recall this although I am aware that the fandom has headcanoned that SY was sick with some terminal illness due to misunderstanding the original translations
It might be in the extras. I believe in twitter someone saw a Weibo post that said SY died of food poisoning but I don’t know if that was canon or not.
