Looking for more translators

If anyone would like to join the translation team for The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System, please send me a message at the Novelupdates forums. Note: You must have a forum account to message me. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I don’t want to put my email address on here.

What do we need? We need people who:

  • are able to translate from Chinese to English
  • have enough free time to finish at least one chapter per month
  • areeasygoing and won’t cause drama.

Thanks for reading this.

Luo BingHe’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Adolescence

I’ve just read this fanfic and it’s spoiler free! It’s the same as the events in the first quarter story but from other people’s point of view.

You can read “Luo BingHe’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Adolescence” here.

“But suddenly, everything changed.

Their stern, unperturbed, and aloof Master changed.”

A super awesome fanart of Luo Binghe and Sheng Qingqiu

There has been a very major and weird update of WordPress (what this website sues) and I have been unable to change the older pages. Give me a day or two while I try to find a fix.

In the meantime, if there are any errors on the website, please leave a comment here if you can. Thank you.

Ibuki Satsuki’s Comic Collection

Have you heard of Ibuki Satsuki, the creator of awesome Xianxia art? Check this out!

 Ibuki Satsuki's Comic Collection

You can read the English translation of Ibuki Satsuki’s Comic Collection here.

The comic basically meanders here and there with the plot going in many different directions, flashbacks, flash-forwards, modern AU, etc. but I don’t care as long as I can look at all the great art.

The image above is Sun Tuo, a healer. He’s known for being the serious and solemn type who wears a metric ton of layers. I love his long hair. 🙂

A collection of comics depicting the everyday lives of characters from the wuxia-themed MMORPG Jian Wang 3. Mainly SoL(slice of life) comic shenanigans set in the Tang Dynasty.

Ep 1-42: Series of standalone episodes that don’t have continuity (aka one-shot/omake types)
Ep 43 onwards: start of “story”

Happy Cyber Monday

If you’re shopping on Amazon today for the Cyber Monday deals, take a look at these books and ebooks that I personally recommend. Some of these are the stuff I read and others were gifts. I like to give books as gifts to children to encourage them to read more in the future.

The books that I personally recommend:

Unsouled by Will Wight (Cradle Series)

This ebook is currently free to read if you have Kindle Unlimited. The Cradle series is what Xianxia would be if it was written by a Western author. It’s great.

Sacred artists follow a thousand Paths to power, using their souls to control the forces of the natural world.

Lindon is Unsouled, forbidden to learn the sacred arts of his clan.

When faced with a looming fate he cannot ignore, he must rise beyond anything he’s ever known…and forge his own Path.

I have also read the author’s Traveler’s Gate Trilogy, which is also free on Kindle Unlimited. Just wanted to share the good stuff with you!

Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale by Holly Black

This is one of my favorite fantasy books. There’s a sequel titled Ironside which I also love. I do not recommend the other book in the series (Valiant).

Sixteen-year-old Kaye is a modern nomad. Fierce and independent, she travels from city to city with her mother’s rock band until an ominous attack forces Kaye back to her childhood home. There, amid the industrial, blue-collar New Jersey backdrop, Kaye soon finds herself an unwilling pawn in an ancient power struggle between two rival faerie kingdoms — a struggle that could very well mean her death.

Mommy? ( a pop-up book) by Maurice Sendak

This was my gift to my nephew back when I had more money to spend on gifts. It’s a great pop-up book for younger kids.

Nimona by Noelle Stevenson (English graphic novel)

This one was my gift to my niece and she loved it!

The Funniest Joke Book Ever!

This is a nice kid-friendly book that I gifted once and they immediately opened it and started reading it right then and there. That’s how you know someone likes it.

The Essential Tarot Kit: Book and Card Set

This looks a lot more expensive than it is and makes a great gift for someone who likes this sort of thing. It comes in a very nice box so it looks like you spent a lot on this gift. 😉

Thanks for reading.

I almost forgot to update today because I was looking for Cyber Monday deals for the website, hahaha!

I wanted to check out if there was some good discount for content delivery networks (CDN, something that makes the website faster) but there weren’t any real one. Sadly, there are a bunch of websites that say “75% off” but when you click on the link there’s no such discount.

Honestly, the only one I can trust nowadays is Amazon, lol!

bc novels website
Please read the novel at bcnovels 𝒹❁𝓉 𝒸♡𝓂

I published this a day early since I have something to do tomorrow with my family. Enjoy!

Please let me know if there are any errors. I kinda rushed this just a little bit but I did check to see if all the links are good.

The next chapter will be published next week.

Thank you for reading.

P.S. Some people have asked if they can translate this into other languages like Spanish, French, etc. Well, sorry but this was translated by a whole bunch of people and if you need permission then you will need to get it from every single translator, not just me. I personally don’t mind but I’m not sure other translators would allow it. Good luck though!

Happy Singles’ Day!

Today is November 11 which in symbols is 11.11. In China this is a popular day for online sales and is known as Singles’ Day since the date is all 1’s.

I guess you could say it’s the Chinese version of Black Friday sales… except that it’s BIGGER and more MASSIVE in every way! Last year the global Singles’ Day sales was $25B. LOL! Here’s an infographic about it from richwaytech that I found to be interesting:

single's day china

China loves Uniqlo, I guess! I tried to look for sales today since I think all stores have worldwide shipping but, in the end, I chickened out since I have never bought anything online from China.

Oh well, maybe next year!

Thanks for reading and let me know if you have any tips for Black Friday or Single’s Day sales. I love a good bargain.
