Have you read any good books lately?
Recently, I was rereading Ursula Le Guin’s Earthsea books. Although the books start off as a coming-of-age story about the main character who attends a magic school ala Harry Potter, I am not sure if this series is meant for children.
The Earthsea books tell the story of the Archipelago of Earthsea, a world of islands filled with magic. The main protagonist of the first book is Ged, a young wizard who discovers his immense power and sets out on a journey to master it. Along the way, he confronts many dangers, including dragons and other magical creatures, and learns about the power of balance and harmony in the world.
Le Guin’s writing is thoughtful and full of insight into human nature. I really enjoyed reading her books.
Let me know if you have any books you can recommend to an Earthsea fan.
Thanks for reading.
Hi! I would like to know if I could retranslate this novel into Spanish, since it seems that there is no translation yet
Okay, go ahead. Just make you credit and link to BC Novels!
I love the earth sea books. They have such depth. By the end you really invested in geds life. I’d recommend the belgariad series by david eddings. Like in earthsea you grow with the character. I think the world building is on par.
Thanks for the rec. Yeah, Earthsea is really something!
