Chapter 15.2 The Reader and Protagonist

Chapter 15.2 The Reader and Protagonist Definitely Have to Be in True Love <— Let’s read it there.

By the way, I am having second thoughts about the race names and their proper English translation. The author wrote the race names in English on his blog: Human, Orc, Angel, Demon, Elf, Dragonkin, Elyos and Asmodian. I changed Orc to Beastkin; Elyos to Angel; and Asmodian to Demon. Do you think I should use the author’s preferred English names?

I did initially use Orc but people preferred Beastkin. As for Elyos and Asmodian, most people have not played Aion so they wouldn’t know what those two race names mean. I think those names are actually copyrighted…

I love Du Ze (and Xiu, too)

Du Ze is super cute!

You know what I think is the best thing about Reader and Protagonist? The main character is super funny. He works hard but keeps his sense of humor about everything.  He is very determined and smart even though he has no fighting skills. I love Du Ze a lot! I want to pick him up and cuddle him.

  1. ELYOS AND ASMODIAN? THEY’RE THE TWO RACES FROM MMMORPG AION! Ah, good memories. While angels and demons are close in the physical representations of those two races, they’re still not exactly the same lore/magic wise. I dunno. Do as you wish!

  2. Yea “orc” makes me think shrek like, but the illustrations shows orc looks closely resembles beast ppl with ears, tails and claws like most fantasy novels.

  3. Think you should keep the translated names, since the ‘orc’ has animal ears + features and I feel Gnome suits this series better then Dwarf
