“Throwing stones down a well”: The full phrase is 落井下石 (luo4 jing3 xia3 shi2), which is really more like “throwing stones at someone fallen down a well”, but I really couldn’t think of a way to make it not clunky so I’m just footnoting it here.

BRUH WTF this was amazing, at the beginning i didn’t care much about Airplane’s story but asdfghjkl i ship these two so much! I’m annoyed it ended where it did tho ngl, i wanted to see more, but eh i’ll take it cuz let’s be real here, their relationship is canon at this point.
I also thought like some others the last part was MXTX’s words and I am happy about that BUUUTTTT… TO LITTLE CANON MOSHANG!!!
I am not a bit satisfied. I think at least we should have seen MoBei making up for being an asshole all this years thoroughly and get a healthy relationship dynamic between these too. I mean all we have here is instead of being a toxic they are becoming friends but nothing about them being a couple other than hints of their feelings. This part made me root for the ship so much to end just like that? Airplane Bro deserved better. I wish he had a longer arc that this so this could have been done.
I am lighting a candle in my heart for our Airplane-juju.

That last bit I got the impression MXTX injected herself in here in the form of Shang Qinghua. This is clearly a very messy story and read, and not one to be taken seriously. And yes, it is kind of written like a middle or high schooler.
But all in all, I enjoyed it for what it is.

Honestly? I think Shen Qingqiu’s fan had more role in the story than Mobei-Jun. The author decided to write 6 chapters for such a useless character. She should’ve written more about the original SQQ (He was so smart, funny, I could understand him so much in the other extra) or YQH. Or Liu Qingge. These characters didn’t take scene in the story enough.
But hey, when the author loves a character….
Hey, theres a thing called fanfiction, if you think there’s not enough exposure of the character you like, find a good fanfic to read or make one yourself. Ideas doesnt just pop up, if you wanted the author to right more about the side character you love, she first needs ideas, and it cant be helped if she doesnt have one, it cannot be forced. Making chapters isnt fan service, she doesnt write just to satisfy you, a nameless fan hiding in a character’s dummy account.

I REALLY LOVE THIS COUPLE..! This couple is ambiguous. It’s like friend bordering on lover. Why? Because I think Airplane hasn’t realize his feeling yet. As for Mobei, who know what he is thinking? He thinks beating someone three times a day is a way to express his feeling 😂. What kind of feeling is it, well, who knows? 😏
kinda gave me the feels like when you’re parents love you that’s why their hitting you too much(i mean, more that the simple punishment parents do) and the child believe that’s how showing love is LOL

They are so cute. Honestly, I was kind of hoping for a bit more to their story. It still ends with Shanghua completely clueless about Mobei’s feelings for him, and definitely hasn’t sorted out his own. I started shipping this the first few times I saw their interactions and was really excited when they got their own story, I just wish it had a bit of them actually being a couple.
I loved that side of the story but. Hey, I hoped they had a kiss at least, but, no, nothing, just make noodles, I’m not totally satisfied (T .T)

CP stands for couple pairing like what we call ships and NP is harem or reverse harem depending on the story but it’s just refers to stories with MC with multiple partners. Hope this helps!

… This couple is so angsty…. How i love them… I wanted to ask is this the end of the novel??
Okay so I want to say that I thoroughly appreciate the work that you do to bring SVSS to a new audience, but that if I may I wish to offer some gentle critic since I’m up to date and haven’t noticed these problems be brought up or solved.
1. There are situations where you use the phrase wholesale from the original language instead of using a similar phrase we have in English, which would convey the same information but not require explanation and wouldn’t take the reader out of the story. I get this is on a case-by-case basis, but it’s fairly odd.
2. There’s a few points where it seems you’ve literally translated sentence or dialogue structure, making it not flow as well in English. I know while reading there were multiple points where I had to mentally backspace and rewrite paragraphs in my head because I just couldn’t figure it out otherwise.
3. The format of character names changes a lot. Capitalisation, where spaces go, spelling, etc.
To be as polite as possible, I think you need an editor, or your editor needs to collaborate and communicate with you (the translator) while editing so they aren’t so scared of making changes. If that makes it take longer, so be it, but it’ll be a much more readable experience at the end of it.
