I’m sorry for the inconvenience

I’m honestly tempted to put the smut behind some sort of DRM or password protection but I know a lot of people are reading on their phones. I do want as many people as possible to read my project but I want them to read it here, not on some plagiarist’s website.

Tower of God

Some people have left comments about the “Tower of God” thing. In case you weren’t aware, “Tower of God” (TOG) a very popular Korean webcomic. I’m afraid I don’t recommend that comic since the story has been very static for a long time and no story arcs have really been finished in a satisfying way, but if you are curious, the official translation can be read at webtoons here.

The official summary of the webtoon is totally useless since it doesn’t explain a thing:

“What do you desire? Money and wealth? Honor and pride? Authority and power? Revenge? Or something that transcends them all? Whatever you desire—it’s here.”

The Tower of God supposedly grants whoever climbs it anything they desire. Even if they can’t climb to the absolute top, there are checkpoints that reward climbers with power. The main character is Baam and he is chasing after his friend, Rachel, who preceded him into the tower.

So here we have Du Ze and the others climbing the Tower of God and one of the people in their group is Rachel. I am not sure if this is a reference to the webtoon. 🙂
