  1. 鬼畜如斯 – 鬼畜 is the Chinese word for the Japanese term きちく meaning a brute, savage, fiend, (human) devil, etc. 如斯 means “this way.” It seems that in China it means “sadist.”
  2. It’s literally “smiling expression” 笑意 but I believe this sentence is about his voice. It would be weird if SQQ was looking behind him at LBH’s face when he’s desperate to escape.
  3. Shishu is what a disciple calls his master’s junior or senior fellow disciples. It’s basically like “uncle.”
  4. 多年未见, 金风玉露一相逢 – this is poetry, lol! This refers to The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl.
  5. acted in the nick of time
  6. 装B – literally “install B” which has two opposite meanings: pretend to be awesome or pretend to be naive.
  7. lit – touched Luo Binghe’s nilin 逆鳞. The nilin is like a person’s weak spot or Achilles heel that must never be touched. It’s like a “berserk button.”
  8. 两人目光在空气中碰撞 – their eyes collided in the middle of the air. I just can’t use it since it’s super funny in English.
  9. 有锤上锤 – there is a hammer on top of a hammer – “Hammer” seems to be an internet buzzword meaning “evidence.”
  10. 挂开 – protagonist’s halo. This means the protagonist’s overpowered “cheat” plot armor that allows him to always win in everything. In other words, plot armor.

However I read SV until chapter 34 and then when I click next to ch 35 I think the link directed to the different novel: The Protagonist Try to Capture Me Everyday. I thought it was new characters but when I checked the table of content in that link it is from a different novel. I’ll skip to chapter 36 now. But I hope you could read and fix the link.     Ooooh some blood sharing….that’s not kinky at all. I wonder if there will be extra symptoms that SQQ will experience. LBH is being so forceful but I don’t blame him and yes he is jealous and hurting but SQQ doesn’t see that the LBH he knows isn’t the one from the book anymore.

    Qingqui is so stupid it is no wonder misfortune follows him. I understood when he first got to the world and could not act a certain way until he unlocked oc mode and I also understand that there is also fix point events that must happen. But seriously all day since his student appears and all he does is stay silent while he vents. No plans on how to talk to him and make him understand why he did was not because he hated demons and such. He read the book he knows all the MC’s good point, forgiven points, and anger points. He deserves to just die for his stupidity in not using what he knows too win. At this point he should never of read the book.

      Honestly for all his thinking Qingqiu never really gets to the point. He seems to let more misunderstandings happen? Yeah he’s bounded to book knowledge and the system he spends all day mentally criticising and outthinking while being powerless to the very simple gesture of actually communicating anything meaningful and makes his intentions out to be like every kind of vague, confusing, and unclear interpretation like no wonder

      i don’t reckon qingqiu is stupid. from the very beginning, the system said binghe’s destiny was to become the saintly ruler of the demons, and to become hateful. it’s literally quoted in the text. so of course he thinks that the story has to follow the original plot line. qingqiu isn’t going to explain anything bc from his pov, there is nothing to explain. that’s how the story was written so that’s how the story will go.

    Binghe thought his shizun abandoned him and was wracked with despair as he thought it was his ploy to get rid of him in that magic cave thing. Feeling betrayed his heart was full of hatred and distrust…so he came back to take revenge on him? Ask for clarification and if the answer didnt satisfy then kill?

    Shen qinqui is scared cuz his whitelotus of a disciple became a feral beast and being someone who cares too much for his owb life, he flees at the sight of danger. Disciple misunderstands and catches him for interrogation?

    I feel like that blood is bad news…. i could only look forward for the next chapter..praying for you shen qinqui..
    I guess the original plotlines bad end is nearing..and your worst nightmares are around the corner… ah binghe..your master just wants to train you to be stronger TvT pls clear the misunderstanding before you kill him!
