    I love how every character MXTX seems to creat has such a background that it hard to hate them 100% for me. I’m reading this after mdzs and even in this one I could understand and feel bad for the characters I didn’t enjoy at first (tho Su She can f**k off, I somehow can’t stand him, he’s my only exepction to this rule).

    I think it the first time I read something where every bad guy and “bad guy” have such a story that you can understand where it all comes from, but also make it hard to really hate them (at least, for me)

    My heart hurts for zhuzhi lang and tianlang jun beyond belief. I can’t believe I ended up crying for them. It really makes me feel like just breaking the 4th wall nd hugging them. I don’t want them hurt anymore, i wish they wud live

    All of MXTX’s characters have their stories to tell regardless if they are the protaganist or not. Most specially the villains. Of course from Scum Villain, MDZS, and HOB there will always be a character that is a master of psychological manipulation, and an idiot but not so idiot after all. Watch out for these two

      I suspect that Mobei-Jun is a big tsundere seme. It’s somehow a nice poetic twist; when the author of so many stallion novels is the secret uke of a powerful seme.

    I knew it. There was something wrong with TLJ and SXY story as told to people. So sad.
    Lastly, the one supplying the sword with demonic energy is…..*trumpet sounds* YUE QINGYUAN. (hides not to be killed by YQy fans)

    or it could be airplane bro. (eversince the event with NIE HUISANG of GDC..I tend not to trust charas pretending to be super weak. 🤔

    Can we all appreciate how Mobei-Jun just punted Shang Qinghua into the cave like he didn’t care but almost pummeled Zhuzhi-Lang into oblivion when snake-boy tried to hurt his human? No wonder Shang Qinghua has no clue what his ideal man is thinking with all these mixed signals!

    And I had an inkling that things with Xin Mo aren’t that simple. Especially with Binghe having trouble to control this cursed sword from the start.

    It’s a bit of a long shot. but what if it was Shen QingQiu himself? Accidentally, of course, but he has 3 lines of demon blood in him, meaning that theoretically his demonic energy should be pretty strong..
    Asdfgh this theory is even further off, but what if somehow it’s the original!Luo Binghe? I think another commenter touched on a similar idea – that the penalty dream wasn’t just a dream but something of an alternate reality?

    That’s one MAJOR cliffy – ladies (and gents), enjoy the view! Looks like I’ll be living with bated breath till it’s May 25.
    But I wonder who the final BOSS is if Tianlang-Jun isn’t. Somehow I don’t think it’s Binghe either – with so many things from the original novel twisted beyond recognition he no longer has a valid reason to unify the two realms. If it’s an attempt to appear the savior in the eyes of other cultivators then he should have killed Tianlang-Jun straight off without letting him speak and expose LBH as the culprit… Well, I guess I’ll find out the truth in five more days.

    Gosh this chapter really makes you feel all of their sadness… However, for some reason it was actually Zhuzhi-Lang’s back story that made me want to cry the hardest… I mean, LB’s mum and dad at least had been able to know love at some point, while LB has SQ, but it seems Zhuzhi-Lang only ever had Tianlang-Jun ..

      Ah you can’t really blame them those demons are pretty damn strong… the weak always fear the strong… ahh… but this feels so wrong… so much wrongness… just out of fear of what that power might do or could do.

      Look at it from the perspective of those Humans… Imagine if Nazi Germany resurfaces in our world again, you know that people are going to think shit… no this must not happen again… and will go full lock down and smite said group from ever reforming to the point where they can gain military power again right? I mean they were involved in 2 world wars… its not like you can ignore the potential shitstorm…

      But in this instance… they weren’t monsters… they weren’t Nazi Germany 🙁 in reality they were more like Oktober fest revilers 🙁 wanting to socialize a bit while singing and romancing 🙁 Aaah!! I hope Author will write an alternative history side story where LBH got to grow up with both parents 🙁 of course there would be no SQQ romance (maybe) in reality I am fairly certain it would be a happy slice of life drama 🙁 awww…
