Oh!!! So a lot of people have read The Legend of the Sun Knight! Cool.

Apart from Sun, there are also a lot of interesting and funny characters. One of my favorites is the Ice Knight. Traditionally the Ice Knight has to be cool and aloof.

After many years of maintaining a “freezing cold” expression on his face, the current Ice Knight now has facial paralysis. He can’t show his emotions on his face but he can express himself by baking! He’s an expert baker who likes to give gifts to his fellow knights.

What? You say he’s a super handsome and kind person who loves to bake?

Count me the eff in! *signs the “Ice Knight fan club” application form*

IIRC, there was one time when the Sun Knight found out that women considered Ice to be so handsome that women would gladly carry Ice Knight on their backs (literally, they had to carry him for *spoiler reasons*). When the extremely vain Sun wanted to know how long women would be willing to carry him, as a measure of how handsome he was compared to Ice, one woman replied “If I didn’t know you, one week … but because of your horrible personality, I would run far away from you!”

Based on the women’s tastes the ranking would be:

• Ice Knight – willing to carry him for five days
• Sun Knight – based on appearance only, seven days

I really want to see a man so handsome that women would willingly carry him for so long.

You know, reading all this stuff about the angel trial made me miss the other famous knight of the God of Light. I refer, of course, to the story The Legend of the Sun Knight.

The author Yu Wo 御我 gave permission to the translator and the story has been completely translated. There are eight volumes.

I recommend this series because it’s funny and heartwarming. Note: It’s not BL.

Summary:

I am a knight. To be precise, I am the Church of the God of Light’s Sun Knight.

The Church of the God of Light worships and serves the God of Light, and theirs is one of the three largest religions on this continent.

As the whole continent knows, the Church of the God of Light has the Twelve Holy Knights, and each one has his own unique personality and features.

To be the Sun Knight is to have shining golden hair, sky blue eyes, a compassionate nature, and a brilliant smile.

“The benevolent God of Light will forgive your sins.”

I must have said that line at least a million times in my time as the Sun Knight.

However, the greatest wish in my life is to be able to stand before the entire continent and roar, “Damn your ‘the whole continent knows’! This Sun Knight just doesn’t feel like smiling! I just don’t want to forgive these human trashes! I just want to pepper my sentences with ‘f***’!”

Unfortunately, even to this day, I continue to wear a smile as I say, “The benevolent God of Light will forgive your sins.”

Taking wealth from the people and making the environment worse for everyone

What a revelation! The angel race’s trial is so cruel. In the last chapter Xiu and Du Ze both realized that the light elements that the governor has been taking is destroying the environment.

I hope that everyone realizes that this is very realistic and not fantastical at all.

Every day, in real life, rich people who own factories pollute our air and land just to make more money. Ordinary businesses and people also pollute our environment.

In China, air pollution is a very serious problem but they are hardly the only country who struggles with smog and haze. Check out the photos below.

I’m somewhat sad, but what we did get was fun. I was glad to see the Moe Lord and my favorite facial paralysis character enjoying themselves.

Since Eric has the room next to them, I wonder if he was able to sleep that night?

I took a break

Just a short break. I tried to do some website improvements but, sadly, they were not successful. In fact, the website even broke one time, in case anyone noticed. I was able to fix it but I decided not to mess with it again.

My asthma is acting up again and I have a slight cough. No worries though, everything is fine. Expect some small delays though.

I saw this amazing artwork and was reminded of our undead Xiu x Du Ze pair. Anyone know if this is from a manga/anime?

Every Day the Protagonist Wants to Capture Me

I know people have been looking for the latest release of “Every Day the Protagonist Wants to Capture Me.” Sorry for the delay. Right now TRAP is at a very important stage since we are now down to the last 9 chapters. I am concentrating on that. Once it is finished, then I will have lots of time to work on “Every Day the Protagonist Wants to Capture Me.” I will probably be able to release more than 1 chapter per week next month.

The rival and the protagonist

According to the reader, this is supposed to be the final scene when he protagonist and the rival talk about life while they are alone together, right before their duel.

Of course, the novel was meant to be the protagonist’s story and everything in it works towards moving him towards the final goal.

But why do I get the feeling that Eric is much more interested in Du Ze? Eric keeps on staring and talking to some silly, cute person. 😉

Let’s not forget that the son of god has also read the doujinshi.

You know… that same doujinshi that may or may not be responsible for “bending” the protagonist.

Anyway, please read today’s release and let me know what you think. Is Eric interested in Du Ze that way? In the spoiler thread, someone who read the entire thing said that she thought Eric was just platonically interested in Du Ze as God’s Messenger, nothing more. Leave a comment if you can, please. I’m very interested in your thoughts about this.

I now have 63% of what I need for web hosting. Last year I didn’t ask for donations since I paid it out of my own pocket then I received enough to pay for it via donations. This year the web hosting renewal is due in February.

Angels and Demons

By the way, I’ve mentioned it before but, just to make it clear to new readers, I think that the author named the “angel” and “demon” races after the Elyos and Asmodian races from the MMORPG Aion.

It’s not my fault! Yi Ye Zhi Qiu copied stuff a lot, like the Tree of Life, the 72 demons, etc.

I chose not to use Elyos and Asmodian since the novel is not actually a fanfic of Aion. It would just be confusing to use those terms.

Besides, not everyone knows what they are but everyone knows that demons and angels are, right?

In addition, although the author calls them Asmodians, the members of the demon race in the novel have horns. However, Asmodians, as far as I know, do not have horns.

I’m honestly not even sure why the author wanted to call them Asmodians and Elyos. Perhaps it’s just to avoid the religious connotations of angels and demons?

I hope everyone remembers this scene. This is the beastkin village when Nina brought Du Ze a meal and confessed to him. Xiu was asleep.

Du Ze had to reject Nina, who was heartbroken. She ran away when she sensed Xiu was waking up. She never appeared to Du Ze again after that, not even to say goodbye.

I wonder how many hearts Du Ze has broken?

There was one time in the elf kingdom when I thought that Ariel was going to confess to Du Ze but Xiu interrupted them.
